It will be five years since I was operated by Dr. Srinivas K.Rao for corneal transplant. It was a couple of feet vision in both eyes and had no hopes of any kind. Medicine, doctors and hospitals with good modern infrastructure are available everywhere in the world for those who can spend, yet confidence of getting vision back is always less. Dr. Srinivas K.Rao, apart from being a great surgeon, is a great human with ability to answer every small question of a patient to his satisfaction and build confidence in patient’s mind.
This made me come back to him all the way from Mumbai to Chennai when my sister faced the same situation as me five years later. She was operated on 22nd August 2008 and today on 28th August 2008 we are walking away from Darshan Eye Clinic with les and with vision which is priceless. I pray that Dr.Srinivas K. Rao gets good health and long life to give many new vision and life.

About a year back, my world collapsed when realization dawned upon that my son, sanchit gupta, 18 years old not able to see because of Stevens Johnson’s syndrome. Only I know how painful sight it was when I saw sanchit waving his hands in the air.
Trying to find something from his cupboard. When his food plate was in front of him and he didn’t eat it as he didn’t know that it was there. So many such incidents made me cry daily. Then came to the divine light in the form of DR.SKR. He gave vision to my son. I wanted to touch his feet but he didn’t allow me to do so by humbly pointing that one should bow to god and his/her parents only. But each and every second since than I touch his feet silently. To me, he is a living god. I know ever is I make slippers of my skin and present DR.SKR, it will be nothing as compare to what he has given to me, my son and my family. How great his parents are that they have DR.SKR as their son. And it’s good fortunate of his respected wife and staff members who are like angels doing great service to the man kind. I will always be grateful every breath of mine till I take my last breath and believe him even after I have gone far away from this world. With tears and gratitude.
