WHY DSEK?

Dr. SANJEEV SRINIVAS at the international Ocular Surface and Keratoprosthesis Conference (OSKON) held at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai between 25-27th August 2023. He presented a case on Steven Johnson syndrome for which mucous membrane grafting and amniotic membrane transplant was performed. The talk was well received by the audience. The meeting was attended by both national and international delegates.

PG UPDATE – CHAITANYA EYE HOSPITAL , TRIVANDRUM

Dr. Sanjeev Srinivas is a cornea consultant at Chaitanya eye hospital,Trivandrum. The hospital as part of PG education, conducted a PG update program — CARER 2023 between 5th — 6th August 2023. Dr Sanjeev delivered a 20 min didactic lecture on infectious keratitis management to about 70 post graduate students virtually on the 5th August 2023.

Dr SANJEEV SRINIVAS delivered a comprehensive lecture on the below mentioned topic at Voluntary Health Services, Adyar on 28th July 2023.The talk was attended by consultants of varying disciplines at the institute, where
Dr Sanjeev is a visiting consultant.

KASTURBA MEDICAL COLLEGE MANGALORE

Dr SRINIVAS K RAO delivered 4 lectures to around 75 post graduate students at KASTURBA MEDICAL COLLEGE, Mangalore on 5th August 2023. The lectures were delivered as part of continuing medical education. The enthusiastic participation of the residents in the program made the session all the more worth while.

AIOS WEBINAR – EPIDEMIC CONJUNCTIVITIS

With the recent spate of conjunctivitis cases across the country, the All India Ophthalmic Society (AIOS) convened an emergency webinar in 27/7/2023 to help set guidelines and determine best course of action for handling the outbreak. Dr SRINIVAS K RAO was both a speaker and part of the expert panel in that webinar along with other eminent ophthalmologists from the rest of the country.

DRY EYE MEET CHENNAI

Dr SRINIVAS K RAO was an invited speaker at the Dry Eye Meet organized on 22″ July 2023, in Chennai. Dr Srinivas delivered a talk on Dry eye basics and challenges in its management. The meeting was attended by many of the practicing ophthalmologists in the city.
