A red eye is a common presenting complaint in an eye clinic. However, there are many causes for the same – including allergies, infections, dryness, and other causes.
Dr Srinivas K Rao conducted a group discussion on this topic for a group of Chennai doctors, and presented his published approach to this problem.
The article that he published in “Comprehensive Ophthalmology” on his approach to this problem has excited a lot of interest in different regions of the world.
This is a request for a reprint of the article
Dear Dr. Rao
Hello from Colombia.
I’m a postgraduate medical student of ophthalmology in the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, at Bogotá.
I’m very, very, interested in review your magnificent paper The itching, burning eye: diagnostic algorithm and management options., published in Compr Ophthalmol Update. 2006 Jul-Aug;7(4):157-67; discussion 169-70.
Unfortunately, I’m unable to get the paper in the libraries of my country right now. Dr.Rao, if possible, could you please send to me a full text copy (maybe in PDF format) by electronic or regular mail?
Thanks a lot
All the best from Colombia
