Dr Navin Jayakumar DO FRCSEd Director Darshan Eye Clinic, will head a specialist neuro-ophthalmology department at Sunetra Family Eye Care Centre, Kolkata which is one of the premier eye care providers in West Bengal. This specialist department is the first of its kind in West Bengal and was inaugurated by Sri Kanti Ganguly Minister of Sundarban Affairs, Govt of WB. Also seen in the picture is Dr Amitava Biswas, Director, Sunetra.

Dr Jayakumar provided care to about 50 patients with optic nerve and other neurological conditions related to the eye besides examining the minister on his request.

The services of Darshan Eye Clinic will now be extended to the people of West Bengal through this new initiative.

Dr Srinivas K Rao, Director Darshan Eye Clinic is expected to initiate an advanced corneal and refractive surgery clinic at Sunetra very soon.
