A red eye is a common presenting complaint in an eye clinic. However, there are many causes for the same – including allergies, infections, dryness, and other causes.
Dr Srinivas K Rao conducted a VIDEOCONFERENCE on this topic for doctors in GUNTUR and VIJAYAWADA, and presented his published approach to this important problem.
The article that he published in “Comprehensive Ophthalmology” on his approach to this problem has excited a lot of interest in different regions of the world.
This is a request for a reprint of the article
Dear Dr. Rao
Hello from Colombia.
I’m a postgraduated medical student of ophthalmology in the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, at Bogotá.
I’m very, very, interested in review your magnificent paper The itching, burning eye: diagnostic algorithm and management options., published in Compr Ophthalmol Update. 2006 Jul-Aug;7(4):157-67; discussion 169-70.
Unfortunatelly, I’m unable to get the paper in the libraries of my country right now. Dr.Rao, if possible, could you please send to me a full text copy (maybe in PDF format) by electronic or regular mail?
Thanks a lot
All the best from Colombia
