Asia ARVO MEETING ON RESEARCH IN VISION AND OPHTHALMOLOGY
20 – 22 JANUARY 2011, SINGAPORE

The Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI) will be organising the Asia-ARVO Meeting on Research in Vision and Ophthalmology from 20 – 22 January 2011 in Singapore.  It will be held at an exciting new venue at Resorts World Sentosa. This meeting will be even more memorable this time around as it will be organized back to back with the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) International Meeting 21st Anniversary celebrations from 22 – 23 January 2011.

Asia-ARVO is the premier eye research meeting in Asia, held every two years in different locations.  The meeting showcases important clinical, basic and translational aspects of vision and ophthalmic research with a particular focus on Asian diseases and conditions. The Meeting is expected to attract 800 – 1000 delegates and will be the main forum for ophthalmic research in Asia.

It gives me great pleasure to invite you to participate in the scientific program as:

1)Member of the International Advisory Committee (chaired by Prof Robert Nussenblatt). As part of the IAC, we would greatly appreciate your assistance to help gather support/ interest for the Asia ARVO 2011 meeting, as well as to champion the area co-designated to be under your purview.

2)Invited Speaker.  We will provide you with complimentary registration.  We are trying to raise funds for our speakers’ hotel accommodation (and airfare) but this is subject to availability of sponsorship.
