Darshan Activity Report- 9th – 11th December – Friday, Saturday, Sunday – Keracon meet – Mumbai

The Cornea Society of India has a membership of about 950 corneal surgeons from across India. Dr Srinivas K Rao was the first President of this Society and is now a member of the Executive Committee – that guides the activities of the Organisation.

This year, the 10th Annual Meeting of the Society – Keracon, was held at the JW Marriott in Mumbai. It was well attended and there was a significant International presence as well. There were scientific session  spread out over 2-and-half days.

Dr Srinivas K Rao was part of 5 sessions during the Meeting, and was able to catch up with many friends, colleagues, peers and meet up with many of his old Fellows. He was also able to take part in important business related meetings during his stay in Mumbai.

He moderated a session on Eyelid related inflammation, delivered 3 lectures and was a part of 5 Expert Panels. His talks were well appreciated and there was significant audience interaction. The next meeting is scheduled in Chandigarh and Dr Srinivas K Rao is a part of the Committee that will organise the Scientific program at this meeting.
