The LV Prasad Eye Institute is one of the Premier Eye Institutes in the country and the Ocular Surface Workshop is an annual event conducted by the them. Dr Srinivas K Rao was invited to attend the 10th edition of this event held this year and was part of many of the sessions that were conducted and he also delivered a talk – Reflections on my Journey in Ocular Surface Diseases. Dr Rao was the first in the country to perform the complicated Modified Osteo-Odonto Keratoprosthesis under the mentorship of Prof Falcinelli from Italy, and also performed many of the currently accepted procedures in Ocular surface disease like conjunctival autografts for pterygium, limbal auto and allografts, mucous membrane transplantation for lid margin keratinisation and other techniques. He was also able to meet  with many of his former Fellows.
