Decoding Corneal Diseases – Sunday, June 2 2019, Vadodara
Dr Srinivas K Rao was invited to attend and speak at the above conference on Ocular Surface Diseases. The meeting was held at the historic Gaekwad Palace in Vadodara and was well attended by over 130 delegates from all over Gujarat. The sessions were interactive with active discussions and learning and Dr Rao’s talks were well appreciated.
The Ocular Surface is a very small area of the human body – about 2.2 sq.cm. However, it is a very complex ecosystem with multiple interacting processes to keep the eye comfortable,vision clear, and the surface healthy. Dr Rao has over 3 decades of experience in managing problems of the Ocular Surface and has pioneered treatment algorithms for the same.
The meeting was also attended by Dr Bhupesh Bagga from LV Prasad Eye Institute and the quality of the presentations, resulted in an nvitation to attend and speak at the LV Prasad Meeting on Corneal Infections to be held in October 2019. Dr Srinivas K Rao agreed to attend the meeting in Hyderabad and share his experiences in managing corneal infections there.
