Patient presented with redness, watering in the left eye. He was promptly scraped and a microbiological diagnosis of yeast (fungal) keratitis was made, following which patient was started on amphotericin eye drops (not available commercially, but constituted at darshan eye care). The infection started to heal and resolved within 5 days. Seen above are images before (left) and after (right) treatment. This case highlights the importance of fortified antibiotics in the treatment of corneal infections.
